I used to subscribe to Amar Chitra Katha when I was in school. They have been informative covering various topics like Indian Mythology (Krishna, Ramayan etc.), History, Jakarta Tales (social Science!), Panchtantra. Some special issues/bumper issues have also been publised (Dasha Avtar (10 incarnations of Vishnu) etc.
The illustrations are good and language simple to follow. A good collection to add to anybody’s personal library. Now with my daughter growing up, I think I would need to start a new subscription for her so that she also gets the benefits of enjoying this comic/magazine.
