It is located about 2 km from the city centre and spread over 190 acre of forest . this zoo was opened in 1971.
As this zoo is situated on a natural forest named allen forest the surrounding is so natural that you will feel like moving in forest.
It is expended over a huge area. zoo has a vide variety of animals like cheetah, leopard, jaguar, hippo, deer etc.
This is a must visit place especially for children where they can see the birds and animals in their natural habitat . zoo also have a toy train which makes it more interesting for kids.
This place is a good option for a family outing.
