We live n jaipur and went to delhi to attend our flight.
Having a spare day in delhi, we decided to make a visit to akshardham temple.Hearing the name , my intial thoughts were of a boring and small temple where we would pray and come back but it was absolutely opposite!
The temple was huge! I came to know that it is the largest temple of the world.Its architecture was magnificient and elegant.We had special permission for having a round at each and every activity available there.
First went to a trip through water on a slow moving roller coster! believe me! It was in a temple.
We saw robotic and mechanical animations of gods and thus learned about their story in an exciting way.
Then we went ti watch a movie clip about a saintly god on a cinema screen which was almost double the size of that of a normal cinema screen! .The fountain show was amazing too.The temple is ambassdor which shows that temples are not just dealong with old principles , but they are combining a temple with latest technology in an exciting way!
