I am writing to let others know why not to use Airtel blackberry services plan. I have been facing constant problems with the service provided. When you call the call center, you firstly are unable to get through without couple of tries. When they pick up, they are sloppy, not fluent and with lot of background noise.
On one incident, I made this call to report of my service not working. He promised it would be resolved by 2am. Of course it didnt happen. When I called back, another guy named abhishek tells me there is a major problem in Mumbai area and hence the issue. Informs me it would take 24 hrs. When I asked to speak to the Manager/Supervisor, he puts me on hold and comes back after 2 mins to say that the supervisor is not on floor but the problem should be resolved already. THEY THINK THEY ARE MAGICIANS. The supervisor, when asked for the name(Mr Amit Kumar) didnt even have the courtesy to come on line.
I'm still suffering without any activation of my plan. This is a ongoing problem and I don't think Airtel is able to handle the blackberry package at all.
Would never recommend anyone to use Airtel.
