My first sim card was airtel around 7-9 years ago. The plans than were ok & airtel had it's monopali. The ad's were amazing, especially the AR rehman ad. The marketing strategy was also good but after just 2 years airtel starting cheating customers.
They increased their charges. ideally with the induction of new players in market like-hutch, idea, aircel- airtel should have come up with good & competitive prices. Many waited for the same however as an when time went, their charges increased & new service providers came up with good plans, be it data plans, sms, or other services.
Since there was no improvement in service as well as no new offers, I contacted many times to convert the number to postpaid. Frequently enquired for latest plans & offers but the customer service always had monotonous verbiage & always showed themselves helpless. I quit airtel-my previous number was 9975821
Since last 5 years I m using vodafone post paid
