I own a Airtel mobile connection in Mumbai and the coverage of the Airtel signal is one of the worst I have experience. I moved from Delhi where the Airtel connectivity was very good and expected similar standards here but was greatly disappointing. In our circle of friends if anybody says he has an airtel we know that it is impossible to get in touch with them so much so that MTNL actually looks good.
Whenever anybody calls on my phone the only messgae they get is that the phone is out of range and this to when I live in Worli. The whole idea of having a mobile is connectivity but in Mumbai Airtel fails completely.
If Mr Mittal could not offer this basic service why did he launch the mobile in Mumbai. The Airtel Brand which meant so much to me today stands for poor service and lack of commitment.
