I got my SIM activated on aug'02 & I'm one of the 1st 100 customers in TRICHY. Actually I got irritated initially by not having coverage even in my classroom & also in my home.Very weak Signal I got.But the one thing that was appreciable was there were no clippings even if therez weak signal.
Later I complained to the customer care abt the coverage that they r providing in TRICHY. They told that they will be introducing within 2 months & as per their words it happened & I was delighted of the assurance given by them.
Then abt the Value added features they were of nominal cost initially.But now they are of peak rates.For eg: when V wanna use dictionary V have 2 SMS to 500 which is a special number.The cost was initially as that of the normal SMS.Then it had been to Rs1/- & now it's Rs2/-
Also for ISD sms I have to pay abt Rs3/- per message now where it costs Rs1.50/- for STD sms. Really costly.Whereas for me STD calls just cost me Rs1.99/-!
It'll b better if they r reducing the SMS cost
