I have called a BSNL number in which it plays tune and informs to press * for copying tune
My intention was not to copy the tune. I have no idea how my mobile * button pressed
While I called BSNL continuously more than 3 times as other side the person was disconnecting my call
This looks enabled hello tune from BSNL and copied to Airtel. During same hours my cell-phone fell-down that could be a trigger for hello-tune copied to my airtel set?
But the hello tune of BSNL song is different than I heard while dialed my airtel mobile phone
but both songs starts with "Hara Hara"..
Why it should be like copying a hello-tune from some other network - own network by simple means of just pressing
I heard that TRAI made a rule to get this out "quick" business trigger if someone unknowingly pressing a * while dialing BSNL number, Airtel get a "Hello-tune" customer and they charge overhead for Rs. 30/- monthly. The hello-tune does not play entire-song. This is just fancy. It looks BSNL provides hello-tune business to Airtel. I have surprised to see airtel sms saying that I have enabled "hello-tune from BSNL number".
While I called airtel, they said nothing can be done you have to pay Rs.45 (~ 1USD) for disabling it...it is just business robbery which I got trapped. Why airtel was not listening Or genuine to secure customer for it hello-tune business? I have sent any sms or email to enable the tune on my hand set. rather they did not even confirm my/customer approval to enable the feature....how come service operator don't feel hard to enable a one touch * button to get business?
why airtel network coverage is not good. BSNL works fine in place called "Kollihills, Tamil Nadu" and Saduragiri-hills, Tamil Nadu. Airtel cellphone does notwork but it will show network indicator.
BSNL network works fine in top of the hills about a 800 meters
