My nightmare started when I subscribed AirTel gujarat previously I was Idea subscriber and my situation is ''aasmaan se tapkaa khajur pee atkaa''.
I'm been with AirTel since last 4-5 months and every month they are over charging me and not keeping the promises which they maid while choosing them.
With that also I could have bared because in india cellular operators make money doing dirty practices but last month when I paid bill in cash (they gave the receipt also) and now they are saying I never paid the bill. They are calling me every day for payment which I already paid.
Even they commited following things:
1) If I remain on 599 plan, 100 rupees lifetime discount
2) if I remain on 349 plan, 50 rupees lifetime discount
3) 1200 Rs deposit; against which I will get 200 Rs discount for next 6 month.
No promise is taken care at there own. I have to fight with them at every billing cycle.
In first month, they placed me in 349 plan when I asked for 599 plan and they overcharged me 2000 INR. finally after fighting, they agreed and they moved me on 599 and adjust the bill. Next month again I get bill as 349 plan and again I need to fight with them :( Cycle continues...
I'm still with AirTel and make sure that they pay for harresment... I'm also planning to move for consumer protection act and lets see how things go.
