Airtel-Cheating the customer in style with polici

I want to share the bitter experience with airtel-bangalore when they conned me in style.I got an airtel number paying a deposit of Rs. 1250. I lost the handset and hence gave a written letter to deactivate the number. I asked if my deposit will be refunded, then I was told that my deposit will not be refunded as I didnt subscribe the network for 6 months(this they never told me when I took the connection) but my outstanding bill could be adjusted against the deposit amount. Next month I see my bill with the outstanding amount(not adjusted). I went and enquired the customer care in person. Now I am being told that it is AGAINST company's ''Policies'' to adjust my outstanding bill amount against the deposit.


Now I am not getting any re-fund and on top of it I have to pay extra money for settling the outstanding amount. Even settling this amount against my deposit is not allowed due to their ''Blessed policies''.What kind of service is this? What kind of customer friendliness is this???
