I have been with Airtel network for 4 years and decided to go for another two connections with LIFETIME 999 offer. This scheme is a shame on their part. Have a look at this message I received.
“Just recharge for 49/- and enjoy all Airtel-Airtel outgoing calls at 49 paise all over Karnataka with full talk time.”
The offer looks pretty good, but JUST HOLD ON, this isn't for real.
Read my story. After recharging Rs.49/- the talktime I had was 0.
CSR 1: I called 121 and they said that 49/- that I recharged will be invisible to me but I can make calls for the next 30 days with that amount.
Still, I was not able to make calls. The phone always said “your balance is toooooo low to make a call”
CSR 2: Now, again 121. This person replied that my main account does not have a balance, so I need to fill that with currency to make calls. WHAT @#$(.
VERDICT:
This is just a rental scheme under LIFETIME FREE offer. First you pay 999/-, then pay 49/- and then recharge again to make calls. A broad daylight robbery. There might have been hundreds of cases like this.
