Last year I bought airtel postpaid connection only to use 3G service & paid Rs. 800/- well in advance as rental for a tenure of 10 months of service. Activated 3G service & used for 5 months. Due to non coverage of 3G service outside surat city, discontinued use of it after 5 months.
I was under the impression that after 10 months, the services will be stopped. Now, Airtel is demanding Rs. 1600/- as unpaid bill amount. They are arguing that I am expected to go to airtel stores to stop the services.
Ridiculous!
Thinking of going to consumer court? . Pl. advise.
