Hi all!.
Airtel services in Mumbai - currently seems only Magic not reality. Current scenario in Mumbai about Airtel connectivity is not good. But, considering my experience in the other states and looking at the Bharati's confidence this services seem to be promising.
I am using Dream Plan since 1 month in Mumbai. Sadly I have to say that the connectivity in A.C. offices particularly those located at ground floor or in the basements is totally unsatisfactory. Though the signal shows o.k., outsiders are not able to connect. When inquired with Bharati's Cust-Care cell they say that they are yet to install local towers in deep suburbs.
Another experience about Airtel's OSS in Mumbai who issues SIMs. These shops are not giving the brochures which are very essential. For those who are first time cellphone owners are not aware of the various configurations about all the Airtel Services. In spite of repeated follow up with OSS, no response only empty promises.
This is my current experience. However, I am still hopeful that Airtel can do much better in Mumbai too. So, its too early to conclude about Mumbai services. I suggest wait & watch.
