The story is regarding postpaid no 9890678195. On 28 the may I activate 1 GB data plan of 175 rs through*121# ussd. After that I got flash sms indicated that the pack will be activated within next 4 hrs. After this msg I consider that pack will be activated by 2 am of 29 th may.
Then I start to use internet.On 9th May when I check my bill I was shocked. It is near about 1600 rs. After that I call customer care they told me I have charged around 1000 rs for data usage. I told them 175 rs plan I already actived on my no on 28th may.
The customer care told me due to some technical issue the plan was not activated. Airtel never inform me regarding this via sms or call that the plan was not activated. Even they confirm through email that I have dialed*121# on 28th May.I have copy of email as proof. After some emails they call me and told there is no facility of activating 2g plan through ussd. When I provide them screenshot of used menu they demand me for confirmation msg.
This is fully hide and seek game from Airtel. So its my request to all of my friend please stay away from airtel postpaid. Better to prefer idea, uninor and Docomo for internet.
