When I earlier wrote about airtel I used the word ''GREEDIEST'' and later felt that I should not have used such a word to describe them but now I feel that I should look for a much more bigger word than greedy! I had a prepaid connection and the balance was low I paid for unlimited sms and so am able to send sms from my phone but am not able to make outgoing calls due to insufficient balance.
I can receive calls but guess what? I cannot receive incoming sms unless I topup my account!! Does this happen else where in the world? earlier even when the balance was nil and the number is temperorily disconnected we were able to receive sms till the grace period. It was the case of any other cellular service connection! I dont find logic in their blocking the incoming sms they are allowing incoming calls as they get Interconnect charges for the calls received on its network. I paid the service charges for the entire period and why am I being blocked with the incoming sms? I dont think any other cellular company does such murky thing.
No company can take its customers for granted and for a ride. Shame on the company which boasts of being the No 1.
