I used tata sky for almost 3 years but this time I opted for airtel digital tv because I want to try new dth. 1 year pack of airtel digital tv is much lesser then other dth operators. I choosed value prime pack and diamond hd pack. The installation is very smooth and quick. The setup box of airtel is very big then tata sky which is a bad thing in my opinion. Now coming to sound and picture quality. The sound of airtel dth is good but the picture quality is worst. Picture quality of hd channels is like sd channels. There is no difference in sd and hd channels. I am using it with my lg 32 inches hd tv. Picture quality is way better in tata sky. The only good thing in airtel is their remote. The remote is very user friendly and light weight. Airtel has also less channels then other dth operators. In my opinion if you want only sd channels then you will surely go for airtel but if you want hd channels then go for tata sky because tata sky is perfect in picture quality and service. Airtel is only good in sd channels.
