Hi, We were using Fixed line + Broadband of airtel with number 080 - 42046503 . When we shifted to new area, they did not presence there. So we raised a request for disconnection on 20/06/2013 03:15:24 PM through email. They acknowledged the case and gave us reference number at Fri, Jun 21, 2013 at 3:16 PM. The reference number is 34477864.
During numerous attempts from them to force us to keep the number , we had directly said we are not interested as they don't have service in our area!! However, these crooks messed up somewhere are took the request to disconnect 080-42095286.
Now after 2 months I got a call from bigger crook claiming to be some advocate from Delhi. Apparently, he was handling my file and if he forwarded it, I would have to go to Delhi court to pay 22, 000 rupees. When I asked him details of the case, he said he does not have any details and hence will forward the case. Plain simple threatening.
I have written to the nodal officer of Airtel as well. Let's see if there is any response from him on this matter as well.
