Recently Aircel distributed free sim card all over madras. Those who are interested cab give photo id and residential proof for the same. After verification by the staff who had distribute the sim they intimate the same to their office over phone and the activation done with in 5 minutes.
Now most of us who had got the sim are unable to talk from the aircell no provided by us. And it is stated the activation is barred and contact the customer care center. While contact them over phone the again asked us to provide proof of address and photo id to activate the same.
As told by them we had recharge by to pup card valued for Rs.30 /-. Now the free sim card is easily available all the shops and it is no problem to get the sim & new number. What happen to our proof? How they maintaining the system are questionable? I request the authorities to look into the matter and find the solution for the same.
