I shifted to bangalore about 9 months ago and needed a post paid connection. I went to outlets of docono, airtel, vodafone etc. I had limited id and address proof having just moved into the city. while the big players wanted a certain package of documents which I did not have, the aircel folks made some effort to do some research and see how they could help me without breaking the law and using the few documents that I had. the TRAI requirements would have been the same for all players, but aircel made the effort to go the extra mile which I appreciated. their billing rates, data plan for blackberry are all good. Aircel has an all India presence, but is not one of the bigger players yet. may be to win over customers or wharever, it has good service though speeds can be a bit slow and is a good alternative to airtel, vodafone etc
