I am a frequent flier , I fly more than 130 flights a year. In last 2 years or so I flew Indian airlines quite a few times. And the service is much better except the fact that there is a standard delay of 20-30 min in most of the flights. I find the cabin crew responsive and attentive to the needs. Much better the Kingfisher cabin crew who seem to have looks and no brians. food is good and the ground services improved alot you get your baggage most of the times before you come to the arrival hall. With little more effort and punctuality they can give run for money for Jet airways which has been at the top for some time. Few things they can improve on is the reservation systems which seem to work very slow some times delaying the flight . Printing a boarding card takes a while .
