I haven't used ACT, but I am a user of Beam which is nothing but ACT company in Hyderabad. After coming to Bangalore I am using BBNL which is reliable(I am telling this after using for 2 years, initially I don't also know, just tried my luck).
Coming to Beam(ACT in Bangalore). It is the best ISP as long as it works, superb speed. I used Airtel prior to Beam and now BBNL, out of all these I can say that ACT(Beam) is best for speed. It is the best ISP till it works. However, for any reason if your luck is bad and some problem comes to your connection(might be anything) then only GOD can save you. Their customer support is pathetic, how many ever times you call them no use.
So try your luck! if works you can enjoy.
