Abhishek has finally shed the tag of ‘also ran’ and has come of age after some great performances in his recent movies. He has finally made a name and place for himself in the industry.
He did have a tough initiation into the filmdom. Even before his first movie was out, he was carrying the burden of an entire nation’s expectations. The price he had to pay for being the original Superstar’s son.
The confidence he has gained after his recent performances comes through clearly in the recent television commercials that he has been part of. It's a pleasure to watch him as he relates to the masses, more precisely, to the youth of the nation.
I would like to make a special mention of the new MOTOROKR ad. It's of the kind where you just drop all that you are doing and stare at the TV. The more I see this ad, the more I like it. And it's very funny as well!
Abhishek plays himself in the ad. The storyline portrays that even celebrities are normal people, just like you and me. Though they are hyped up to be larger than life, they are just regular people.
