I had purchased a 600 Kbps plan at Rs. 649 / month plus service tax from ABC Broadband. It was a quarterly plan, so I paid Rs. 2425 in advance for 3 months (Installation charges, Security deposit ). I was assured of 70-80 kbps of download speed at the time of installation.


All was going well for first two days.but, after that their tall claims started to show their true colors. I was getting a meager 7-8 kbps of download speed for next 10 days. when I called the customer care executive; that idiotic moron told me that it was the best they can provide for time being. so the next day I decided not to use their service, and requested them to disconnect the connection.


Now starts the time of worst ever suffering of my life.....


I asked for the refund of 2 months of advance payment that was left with them. I called their customer care for 4 months straight , wrote 2 dozens of e-mails in various departments. The only reply I got from them was "We are still looking into the matter, our billing department will call you in next 24 hours. please have patience ". but no one ever called me back.


Finally when I went down to their office in Kandivali, and barged into the senior manager's office, and told him of my mental harassment caused by customer care dept. and demanded my due which was approximately Rs. 1558. and after 10 days finally got my check.....


wait !!


Its not over yet....


Amount written on check was Rs. 1158.


When I went down to their Kandivali office again, Senior manager was missing and peon told me that He was out of station and added that I was lucky to even get some part of my money back and that too in four and half months only. He told me that people are coming here for their 1000 Rs. for last six months and they haven't got nothing yet, you should consider yourself lucky. So, I called customer care dept. ( again ). again explained the whole scenario and told me that there was a mistake in preparing check from their side and I should wait another 1 month for my refund of exact amount.


I had no patience left in me. I cashed my check. and decided to relieve myself from the mental agony I was suffering for last four and half months.


Please. Do not even consider ABC Broadband, If you're looking for an Internet connection.
