I had heard of this movie several months ago and recall that it was highly rated and recommended in the newspaper media. I somehow missed watching it then but recently my video library guy sent it over.
I tried not to get my expectations high but the name had immediately brought back the reviews etc. However, on watching the movie, I thought it was a BIG letdown, for those who watched Nick of Time. The plot here is different in some ways but the underlying theme is similar, thus making you feel it is highly influenced by the original(Nick of Time).
The direction comes nowhere close to Nick of Time and neither does the acting of the much touted Rajiv Khandelwal. I thought at some places there could have been editing to simply make the pace faster. The depth lacked in certain parts of the film and focus was on the guy running after his cab for what seemed like the airport to Bori Bunder!
For those who have not, I would highly recommend Nick of Time to watch something truly action packed and with drama.
