At one point, nandhini palace was one of the best restaurants in my area. In the recent years, its quality has fallen very low. Well beyond repair. I do not know about how the other branches are holding up, but, the Rajajinagar branch has lost its charm. The food is on the expensive side and the quality of the food does not reflect on its price. There are a lot of places serving much better food for the same price or even lower. I think some of the cooks here think Andhra style food is just about adding chilies to everything they serve. The service and ambience are nothing to talked about. In fact, I remember the place to be untidy. They are still living in their past glory. The quantity of food is less for the amount charged. I remember paying around 250 for a small chicken Biriyani and a large one costs around 320 bucks. I can only pay that sort of money if the place has pampered me well with their service and ambience. The food is good, nothing to be raved about. I ordered a chilli chicken and all I could find were chilies. The taste of chilies was overpowering any other flavor in the dish. I was disappointed by that.
