Poor service average food and extraordinary price. Review on 6 Ballygunge Place, Indiranagar, Bangalore

This was the fourth time I went here. This time we were a group of 10.

We ordered some starters(fish finger and mocha r chop), one fish item each, begun bhaja,

dal, pulao, rice. For dessert we tried Mishti doi, indrani, malpua.

1. Taste:  For the food apart from 1 or 2 fish dishes everything was very ordinary. Pulao was horrible. I cant imagine a bengali cooking so bad pulao.

2. Service:  Never faced such a pathetic service in any restaurant. Everything came extremely late. It took 3.5 hours to finish the meal. There was no order in which food came. First came fish, after some time begun bhaja .The Dal came when we finished our meal. Some of us had it as soup. Even for that they could not give bowls.

3. Only extraordinary thing here was the price - No value for money

This place is good for people who do not want to cook bengali food at home and is ready to pay any price to have even a very ordinary meal. As far as I am concerned, we cook better bengali food at home, All my visits to 6th ballygaung place has been on invitation. Id never pay so high for this food.
