Been going to 5 Spice since for an occasional dinner with family/friends since quite sometime now. Me residing in Mahim had to travel all the way to Fort(Since I have always hated the Bandra one) which wasn't always convenient. So I was glad that that they got one in Mahim too. The restauant has been known for it's quantity and a very decent rate, ideal for Birthday treats.
So I went there for a weekend dinner with my parents and cousins. And once again I wasn't disappointed. Ordered one of those Prawn starters and crispy chicken rice and Burnt Garlic Chilly rice. Service was a bit slow which was a put off for us. Food as always lived up to the satisfaction point. Since'Mission Impossible'(the dessert) wasn't available, we went for couple of'Death By Chocolate' with couple of vanilla scoops which was quite amazing. Over and all a good experience, but I'd would still say I'll still prefer the Fort Branch over this one!
