I partially agree with this but largely disagree. SBI has improved the service level but essentially they were forced to improve as they had started losing business to other banks (ICICI, HDFC, Axis, etc.). However, they still need a lot of improvement. Just to give you 1 example, we recently visite...d an SBI branch. We wanted to withdraw x amount from our account (let's assume Rs. 1 lac). We were told that any withdrawal above Rs. 50k for customers of other branch would require notification on the previous day. Even for the customer of the said branch, they need to notify if the amount if more than 1 lac. This was quite ridiculous to me as a particular branch should service customer of other branch as customers associate their service experience with any branch to SBI bank. Secondly, a customer can't notify 1 day in advance if they need the money due to an emergency. Thirdly, it's ridiculous if a bank branch doesn't have funds to allow withdrawal of 50k/ 1 lac. Lastly, a customer has all the rights to withdraw his funds and no bank can stop customer from doing so even to the last rupee available in their account.Read More

Improve CS Dear Naaptol Representative, Yes, my post here is very old & I got my complaint resolved by naaptol top management. But, my point is, I have never turned back to naaptol (However, I have shopped online through sites like Snapdeal, Jabong, eBay, etc), it's all about proving the operatio...nal efficiency of the site every time a customer transacts. I would recommend to enable your CS team to give objective response to a customer complaint/ issue. In a stiff competition scenario, it's otherwise very difficult for the e-commerce sites to retain customers & the customer loyalty will easily tilt towards those who are able to deliver at the expected level.
