There have been many interstate marriages in India over the years and yet it still creates wonder and new stories. This movie is very believable and almost real though the writer and his wife insist its a fiction and only inspired from their own real life story. The boy is almost heroic an...Read more

what happened after that? I used Tatasky in Chennai for 7 years and they are good, except that they do not take customer requests for new channels (channels that other DTH operators provide). Now I am looking for a change - mainly to get some new channels!

Wow! That was great stuff. I am now in the market to buy a DTH connection - and my reasons are different. I live an independent house with a clear sky on all directions. I used Tata Sky for 7 years; however on a visit to Bangalore last week, I found many channels in the hotel room that TataSky neve...r gave me! So when it came for the yearly renewal, I did not pay. Now that their signal have stopped, I need another connection!Read More

Yeah, if you see the movie without reading the book first, you would not understand the plot. The author has taken a lot of trouble in building each character and a 2 hour movie just does not have that luxury. And as for the heroine, well since the first part is off to the side as far as the m...ain plot is, she remains an enigma in the first part. And that actually is the charm of the whole series. Read all the 3 books. By the end the heroine becomes an iconic fictional character.Read More

I am horrified to learn of cyberdon_82's experience. What you had to go through is totally unacceptable. This should be a warning for everyone to be careful. Apart from informing the mall management, can't a police complaint be made?

There are lot of pluses these days to go for a Solar Water Heater. For one, the prices have come down very much - a 100 LPD systems can come for as low as 13,000 & the replacement tubes cost only 350 these days. Then of course, like someone here mentioned, one need not build another tank for the inp...ut but put a low powered pump. However I do not know from where the original author got the idea that there will be loss of water due to evaporation. That is just not true. But what has to be always remembered is that a SWH is basically a system to conserve energy and water. This will not work if one has modern showers with pressure pumps that discharge large amounts of water. One should have a separate tap for the hot water in the bathroom & kitchen. And also, one should always install a system with a larger capacity than required. The method to calculate usage of hot water is: 1. 35 Litres per person per day; 2. 100 Litres per bathroom. And remember, water in the tank today is for use tomorrow, not today!Read More

Before I start praising the movie, let me point that there were a lot of loose ends that were never explained. The relationship between Tilak (Tusshar Kapoor) and Sapna (Radhika Apte is very strange. The guy never knew his wife could read - let alone that she was a graduate! Their interaction almost... looks like courtship - where as the other couples behave like they were married! The background story of the NRI Abhay (Sendhil Ramamurthy) was never explained properly. Where did he come from, did he not have any relatives / friends in Mumbai? Anyway, I guess one should not take our movies too seriously, but this sure is a step forward in content, style and pace. Actually I am impressed with Ekta Kapoor!Read More
