Hi Madhu,
I think I can be of help here regarding your LG C 3400. Here are the answers to your questions:
1. Phonebook pictures:
Contacts menu -> Settings -> View Options -> With Pictures.
To save a pic as a 'phonebook pic', you have to adjust the picture size to 48*48 pix befor...e clicking - when the camera is 'ON'. Hope you know how to adjust the pic size!
2. MP3: You can store around 4-6 normal mp3's and 9-12 compressed mp3's.
3. Additional / Extendible memory: No.
4. Truetones: Not sure.
I wonder how you get such little battery life out of this cell - I get minimum 1.5 days - without charging, for normal usage and 1 day (24 hours) for heavy usage!
Lastly, one word of advice... if you do not mind, please do read the manual / user's guide supplied with the phone. It tells all you ever need to know.
Hope you have a good experience with the cellphone... All the best!

Hi Shefali,
Neat review! You are right... SD is more a businesswoman and less a writer / novelist!
Liked your style and presentation... good review!

Hi,
I really like the matter-of-fact way you have written this review, expressed your views!
But too bad - this to happen to anyone. So you are still stuck with this faulty piece, eh?
Thanks for the info.

Thanks, Bharath. Glad to know you liked the review.
To answer your question - no, the phone doesn't have the option to add memory cards.
But, you can store around 5 mp3's, normally. I have stored 9 mp3's - compressed!
Surprises me, how, but...that's it! Plus you can store 900 pics, 250 sms......phew! Wonder how LG managed to do this!

I want to ask u...I know it might sound silly...but have you installed the software from the CD they provide? Otherwise, the OS will not recognise your h/w - the com port, since the driver is there in the CD.
Meanwhile, I will try n find out if I can get a help-line or smth for you.

Hi Rose,
I think I will try on the lines advised by you...afterall, coming from a woman, it is bound to be better advice than me trying to think for a gift myself! :)
Thanks!

I recently bought the LG C 3400 (GSM) MP3/GPRS mobile phone. For a price tag of INR 7500.00 and the features that it supports, this phone is a steal. Literally!
I was looking for a change from my Nokia 9210i Communicator - for a phone with a decent camera, MP3 player and GPRS. Initially I was...Read more

Hi there Rahul,
Great review! I totally agree with what u have written. Having read the novel by Sarat babu myself, I had gone to watch the movie to actually find out how much of a screw up they had done here...and I was not disappointed - they had really played around with it...sadly!
But......guess this' gonna happen. Afterall, which movie maker would not want to spice up to make some bucks!
Great review, man. Keep us posted.
