Bought a Midea Mini-Split system on 20 April 2018, 2 air handlers and one compressor unit. It is now seven months later, and the system has yet to function properly for two days in a row. The issue seems to lie with the electronics in the remotes and air handlers. Can not change temp, will not retain custom settings(resets itself to factory defaults after about half an hour), or just plain refuses to accept input for changes. Have spoken with Customer Support in Miami more than a dozen times, and have received replacement parts that were similarly defective. Midea refuses to honor its warranty. The system is a total waste of money. NEVER BUY MIDEA.
