I recently purchased a Lacie 6TB wired external hard drive and I am extremely disappointed with the product. I had high hopes when I purchased it, but it has been a huge let down.
The first thing I noticed was that it was very slow. It took me a long time to transfer my data to the drive, and it still took forever to open files. I was expecting it to be faster than my previous drive, but it was much worse.
The second issue I had was with the design. It is very bulky and hard to carry around. I had to find a separate carrying case to transport it, which was very inconvenient.
The third and most concerning issue was that it stopped working after a few weeks. I had already backed up all my data onto the drive, so I was very frustrated when I couldn't access it. I tried all the troubleshooting steps and eventually had to return it.
Overall, I would not recommend the Lacie 6TB wired external hard drive to anyone. It is slow, inconvenient, and unreliable. I wish I had done more research before purchasing this product.
