Honestly I have tried many external hard disk of various brands, but have never been able to get a good data transfer. This one is just one exceptional. It gives the result what you want. WD has never been my favorite since one of the external hard disk got corrupted and couldn't get repaired. But after using this hard disk, I can now confidently say that WD has done a good job in manufacturing this type of external hard disk.
