I recharged on 11-06-2025 for a one-year Tamil HD plan Rs:2417, which is valid until 05-06-2026. However, some HD channels such as Vijay TV, Zee Tamil, and Sun Music stopped working recently.
I raised a complaint, and today an Airtel technician visited my home. Without my consent, he changed my plan from HD to SD. This is unacceptable and feels like cheating. Later, I visited the Airtel store to report the issue. The staff called customer care on my behalf, and after I explained the situation, they changed my plan back from SD to HD.
Unfortunately, when I returned home and checked again, the same HD channels were still not working. This is extremely disappointing and shows very poor service.
Additionally, at the Airtel store, I was informed that only Airtel mobile number holders can directly contact customer care. This is unreasonable. Why should I be forced to buy a new Airtel SIM just to raise a complaint?
I request you to resolve this issue immediately and restore my HD channels as per the plan I paid for. I expect a fair resolution at the earliest; otherwise, I will have no option but to escalate this matter further.
