I was very excited about getting this TV after watching my existing Sony TV for 15 years and it still works. Unfortunately this TV turns itself off frequently. I have pursued every Sony option to stop this (including Sony remote access to make changes) but this has not solved the problem. Sony tells me to unplug it and restart among numerous other suggestions. I am out of patience and purportedly Sony will send a technician to attempt to resolve this problem. Reading other consumer reviews, this problem appears to be a trend with this model and an inherent problem with Sony TVs. I regret buying this TV and urge anyone interested in this model to avoid it and buy another brand. I do NOT recommend Sony.
