I was skeptical about buying the new Continental GT 650 as a lot of reviews suggested that the bike was not ideal for long-distance travel as the handlebar position is low. I did not want the GT 650 just for city journeys as bikes this powerful are meant for long-distance journeys. However, after using the bike for over a month and a few trips later, I have had no issues regarding the comfort of the ride. The seating position is perfect and does not cause any back pain.
The rear suspension is slightly firm and bouncy but adapts to the situation well. The weight takes some time to get used to, but the bike is very agile and smooth. The seats are wide and comfortable, and the ride height is perfect for tall people. Go for it!
