We bought Glen stainless chimney from Home Town Thane. I am yet to figure out how to install the chimney as the Glen service team refuses to honor any commitment made on phone, nor do they reach out in case of change of plans.
The irony is that this is also not free installation and anyway I am paying for the services and still beg with the service team because I am stuck with the machine after buying it! My carpenter kept waiting for the service guy to turn up 2 separate days while the lady on the help desk kept insisting that the technician is on the way. Needless to say he has still not reached our house, wondering if he is landing from overseas.
If such is the state of affairs before installation, I shiver to think what I have in store if case my appliance stops working! The Glen India website shows 4 separate service centers in Mumbai area. Wonder if they are functional / have any technician to support requests. Ultimately how many installation requests can there possibly be for the company in 1 day that it is so difficult to service even after an extended wait.
Pathetic support and communication by any appliance that requires support is ground enough to steer away from that brand!
