My Google review of Dr Sunil Narayan Dutt which he repeatedly tries to get removed
Sunil Narayan Dutt's lack of skill, incorrect diagnosis, and improper surgery have completely destroyed my life for the past 10 years after Septoplasty & Submucous Diathermy at Apollo Hospital Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore, which has caused a severe incurable condition called empty nose syndrome that has put me in constant torment, unbearable breathing difficulties which prevent me from breathing or sleeping properly. He removed excessive nasal turbinate tissue, perforated my nasal septum, and damaged my nasal mucosa. Even after Septoplasty, he failed to correct and straighten the nasal septum. For 8 years, watery mucus would drip out of my nose constantly; it has reduced somewhat now after numerous corrections by other doctors. But the nasal inferior turbinates still do not function normally; substantial tissue from the turbinates was removed by him, and they have not worked properly since then. This nasal turbinate tissue cannot be regenerated even after multiple operations in India and overseas. Other expert doctors in India and abroad consider it a grave error to remove or resect the turbinates. Almost all organs of the body can be replaced with current medical technology except the nasal turbinates. It takes me around 3-4 days and nights to complete 8 hours of sleep. It has rendered me disabled, non-functional, and largely bedridden with nonstop continuous pain and suffering. The pain it has caused me and my family, the mental anguish and emotional distress from this devastating condition caused by this arrogant, not skilled, self-centered individual is beyond words. I have exhausted all of my father's savings trying to treat this condition caused by Sunil Narayan Dutt. If I do not survive and succumb while trying to recover from empty nose syndrome caused by him, Dr Sunil Narayan Dutt bears full responsibility for it. A highly arrogant, brazen individual who disregards patients' concerns, believing himself to be superior, but in my opinion he is a mediocre surgeon. The matter is under state medical council enquiry, and court proceedings against him will begin soon with all the evidence and proof. His post-operative behaviour is deeply disappointing, profit-driven; he encourages all his patients to undergo surgery and visit his clinic, charging a minimum of 1000₹ even for a 5-minute check-up. He lacks sufficient knowledge of nasal anatomy, a stubborn so-called ENT specialist. Brings disrepute to Apollo Hospital as well. Do not risk your money and well-being by consulting him. I would not have survived this long if I lacked the resources to attempt treating this condition caused by Dr Sunil Narayan Dutt. He is unsuitable to perform nasal surgeries; I strongly advise against any nose surgery by him.
Update: Consumer Court Case filed against him; the case has been ongoing for 1.5 years. National Medical Council is examining the complaint I filed against him. I've had to undergo Septorhinoplasty surgery which did not resolve the severe complications caused by this deceitful doctor. I will have to undergo revision Septorhinoplasty again, which will be my 6th surgery in 10 years.
Never consider consulting this unscrupulous individual. He will ruin your health and cause endless suffering. He is unsuitable to perform nasal surgery. He lacks proper understanding of nasal anatomy. He misrepresented his surname on his medical certificate; his original surname is Narayan Swamy, yet he uses DUTT everywhere. He appears embarrassed by his original surname. Draw your own conclusions.
