I have a V-Guard Solar water heater. From the beginning, we found it very difficult to maintain it. I am extremely disappointed with its durability. The coils were replaced twice over the last 2 years. I have to constantly chase the service people down. I suspect this is their business model to have a crappy product, make it fail and sell spares later!
We bought it save some electricity power. With frequent breakdowns, we had to use our other electric water heaters. Only the style and look was good. Rest all pathetic.
The local sellers are saying V-Guard coils are horrible. I don't know why they sold it to me when I bought it earlier! The service is pathetic. If you ask them a proper solution to this the answer is that its all out of warranty clauses, cannot do nothing. So essentially the only solution you are left off with is to dispose the geyser and buy a new one.
