Our Siemens Front Load washing machine is being scrapped now. After about 7 years of purchasing.
Reasons? MANY.
Every visit costs us 800/- non refundable. We have already spent more than 15, 000/- for routine service till now.
After visit smallest expense is 2000/- even for filter clean.
We spend 2400/- every year to “descale” the machine.
The bottom of machine Body has totally corroded.
The inside of machine is also corroded.
Clothes get stained within washing cycle with permanent rust marks.
Service staff insists an expense of 14, 000/- to rectify, which is having limited warranty by them.
The motor may have to be replaced as per service staff.
We have always used best washing detergent, comfort care clothes softener, descale machine every 3-4 months, Still these problems.
So. IF you want to use Siemens Top model washing machine, be prepared to spend at an average of at least 5000/- per year for SERVICE. And WRITE OFF 8000/- to 10, 000/- every year ( as you will have to scrap the machine after 7-8 yrs max)
Mind you, we are a 2 person family, 60 yrs old, careful of equipment operation, living in upscale apartment.
This is our frank opinion. After being totally disillusioned and lured into buying worlds supposedly best brand & machine !!!
