My husband and I recently moved to Chennai and, like many newcomers, we sought advice from friends about finding a place to stay. Some unresponsive friends recommended NoBroker as a way to find a home without the hassle of traditional brokers, so we decided to give it a try.
Initially, we opted for their basic plan (around ) hoping that it would help us find a home quickly. However, two weeks passed with no agent assigned to us, and no communication from the NoBroker team. Frustrated, we decided to upgrade to their premium plan, paying an additional upfront and agreeing to pay ₹8;, 000 once we finalized a house.
But even after paying for the premium plan, we were met with complete silence. We waited for more than a week, and despite promises on their website, no one reached out to us or assigned an agent. Reaching customer service was nearly impossibleevery time we called, the lines were busy with some other important customer. On the rare occasions when we did manage to get through, we would get paired with a new agent who would ask for our requirements and then disappear.
Days turned into weeks, and almost a month later, were still without any help or guidance. Were incredibly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and communication. The whole experience has been a complete waste of time and money.
If youre looking for reliable assistance in finding accommodation, do yourself a favor and skip NoBroker. Its honestly better to pay a local broker for one months rent than to waste your time with these unresponsive and unprofessional services. Dont make the same mistake we did!
