hostingraja is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
This email is to formally lodge a serious complaint against Hostingraja for fraudulent misrepresentation, poor technical support, and unauthorized service downgrade.
I purchased a Dedicated Server from Hostingraja for approximately ₹;2, 50, 000, for which I hold valid invoices and payment proofs(screenshots can be provided upon request).
However, after the purchase:
Instead of providing full root access, your team issued restricted SSH credentials, not root-level access, which is a fundamental requirement of a dedicated server.
Even with the provided credentials, SSH login was not functional, indicating improper or misleading server provisioning.
Based on the access limitations and behavior of the server environment, it is evident that the so-called dedicated server was converted into or replaced with a shared/controlled hosting environment, without my knowledge or consent.
Your support team demonstrated extremely poor technical knowledge, failed to diagnose basic SSH and server access issues, and provided inconsistent and incorrect explanations.
No written consent, approval, or prior notification was taken before altering or restricting the promised server infrastructure.
This constitutes:
Fraud and cheating by selling a dedicated server and delivering a downgraded service
Breach of contract and misrepresentation of services
Unauthorized interference with server infrastructure
Financial loss and operational disruption to my business
