I had a terrible experience with Decorpot and was completely scammed by them. I contacted them in June 2025 for my home interiors. Their representative visited my site, shared a quotation, and after negotiation, I agreed and paid ₹;1, 13, 000(10%) as advance. They promised to start work immediately, but after completing the design, they suddenly increased the quotation by almost 50%!
When I refused and asked for a refund, they said the amount was non-refundable. Later, after I posted a negative review, they called and begged me to remove it, promising to sort things out. I removed the review and gave them a second chance for my living room. But the same designer came back, took measurements again, and increased the quotation multiple times, eventually making it almost double the original one!
Their entire process is dishonest and manipulative — every time you agree on something, they come back with a revised, higher amount. After wasting 3 months(June to September), they still delayed the start date by another 30 days. My housewarming was already planned, and I couldn’t wait any longer.
I finally gave the job to another vendor, who started immediately and will complete everything by November end — at almost half the price Decorpot quoted.
Decorpot has zero professionalism, zero transparency, and zero accountability. They make false promises, delay endlessly, and keep changing prices to trap you.
?? My advice: Don’t trust their words or fancy presentations. Get everything in writing before paying even a rupee. They are experts at fooling customers. I’ve learned the hard way — please don’t make the same mistake.
