I took the membership in Jun 2022 after falling trap like many others and I wanted to avail the service in OCt 2022 to go to Shimla and Manali and when I went to the reservation, I didn't get their advertised hotel Larisa Shimla citing no availability and they provided an option which was 2 or 3 star and I wasn't interested and then I booked the same hotel on my own and had the vacation in Shimla and Manali. The occupancy in that particularity Larissa Shimla was so low that the hotel didnt even prepare a full buffet dinner and I was given an option to choose anything I wanted to have for dinner. It was actually off season in Shimla/Manali in October generally and even all the adventure activities are shut down. But these guys were claiming that there was no availability.
Same thing happened in May 2023, when I inquired for hotel properties in Leh, Meghalaya and it wasn't available. Eventually I went to Ladakh on my own.
And in Aug I inquired for Malaysia package, hotel was available only in Kuala Lampur for 3 nights but not available in Penang or Lankawi. Again I had to drop the plan and inquired for Wayanad stay in Kerala. I was offered a Saffron Resort hotel, cost for which is around 12k for 3 nights which am entitled for but am being asked to pay a AMC of 18000 INR for 2 years to avail this.
This is absolute cheating since the sales guy said that I have to pay an amount of 7000 INR if I avail the services in an year and now am being asked to pay irrespective of whether I use the service or not.
Moreover there is no portal where we as customer can see the availability etc in a transparent manner. Every time we need to send an email to info@grandholidaysandresorts.com and they keep saying there is no availability or provide an option not to my liking. This is a clear case of blatant cheating and deficiency in service.
