I’m currently on my honeymoon and completely disappointed with MakeMyTrip. I had clearly told their agent that we wanted a honeymoon destination with nightlife and activities available after 6 PM (IST). Despite that, we were pushed into booking a Kerala package with false promises.
The reality has been a nightmare:
Munnar: A hill station with nothing to do after 6 PM. I was informed of this only after reaching.
Thekkady: A 5-hour road journey (not disclosed earlier) with no nightlife or couple-friendly activities.
Alleppey: Another 5-hour drive, only to reach a place with just a spice garden and a temple as “activities.”
This entire ₹80, 000 package feels like a scam. I’ve had to spend extra money from my pocket just to make the trip somewhat bearable. Sitting in a hotel room every evening on your honeymoon is not what anyone signs up for.
MakeMyTrip’s misleading sales tactics, poor itinerary, and lack of transparency ruined what was supposed to be the most special trip of our lives. I demand compensation.
