one of the irritants of the modern world is the net conking off just as you press the submit button. which makes you angry that you have two type in all over again. so pardon my brevity Rama i only hope that you see the light some day! also courtesy is what is expected of a nephew and curtsey ...(curtsy) is what they did when they genuflected ever so slightly at Wimbledon! Thgons yes both are different but what gets my goat is the snobbery at W! As i wrote in my review culling down Ir's output to 10 was tough but it is my list. but the songs you mention don't make the grade for me. paadariyen is lot of hype and nothing more - i can go into details but that is a diff topic- regarding Kanne kalaimaane the song is good but that is about that... for me- a bit monotonous in the final analysis. I left Kannmani nee vara kaathirunthen ,Poo malarnthida of KJY ,vizhiyile malarnthathu & anthimazhai of SPB after careful consideration. i could go into the reasons for selecting , not selecting we could argue back & forth but it is after all my list! Ravi, yes i did read your review and have commented on it. two party is one option. Rama waiting for your comments on both. eagle eye regarding my suggestion about voting for regional parties I was meaning expatriates people who belong to one region but are working in another region. even t...heir votes would count. there will always be a few who vote for independents... no system can be perfect... Punter let us hopes you are wrong for the sake of country. laloo is far more astute than most people make him out to be. If only his energy were to be rightly channelised.. if wishes were horses thgons my basic assumption is that if we were to vote for party and parties were to electa list of 543 candidates or 40 candidates in case of a TN regional party we also ensure and strengthen inner party democracy therby eliminating feudal chatraps... hope you get my point.. I would have laughed but I know that you have said with some sincerity. so my answer is an emphatic NO don't even think of it. we can further strengthen democracy.. but down pour acid in to the very roots! preran, thx for comments. the tamil lines i quoted sum up the persona of IR ' because i dare to compose/invent/use new Ragas I too am God! a tad arrogant perhaps but describing the confidence in his ability to the tee. the lyric ends by saying he will' create a kingdom for the musically inclined ...and rule on' hence the title Raja's Rajyam 'raja's kingdom' Cousin2 ?!!!?? Dwingramki i am not sure about Singaravelan's year of release. But lately his songs fail to impress. songs like ilankatru are situational, Barathi was a huge disappointment. I liked a couple of songs in Sethu (kathal than velayai..)& Time ( Kathal nee thaana)but on analysis they reminded me of songs from the early eighties. hence I excluded them..Read More

while the movie was being made I was perturbed for 2 reasons 1. the story seemed inspired by the awful Mera naam Joker. 2. Cheran is too gooda director to be lost as an actor. It would be an irony if Cheran the actor gets more offers as an actor if this movie clicks and we lose out the director.... It would also be a tragedy if Cheran , the director,were to narrow down his kathai kalam to ones which suit his acting persona! I wish directors turned actors like P Vasu, RV Udhayakumar, Ramarajan and even manivannan to a certain extent. Let them do all the acting they want.
