I am an avid Coca-Cola drinker so when the new Vanilla Coke came out, I hopped right in line and bought a bottle. I expected a new variety of the excellent taste I love...
I unscrewed the cap and took a sip. Not bad, I took another sip and about that time the after taste formed. It isn't too bad and if I drank it enough, I'm sure I would acquire a taste for it. I don't think I will though!
If you have ever even a food product that contains an extract flavoring that had a strange after taste, you will know what I am referring to. It's a strange chemical blend accompanied by the taste you expect.
When I drank this flavor of Coke, I felt like I needed to add more Coke to it to water down the vanilla taste. Maybe they will improve it over time, but for now I am staying away from this one.
Perhaps, Hazelnut would be a better flavor addition?
