The Hateful Eight: To much of a talk, and to less to offer.
The 8th film buy Tarantino which is kind of a reboot of his first film Reservoir Dogs is not the worst film but certainly not a good film either.
There is nothing radically wrong with The Hateful Eight, but there is no reason why it couldn’t have been dispatched in 90 minutes, even with all those plot twists. The story does not need the guts of three hours to work itself out, which also means it does not need the intermission.
In a post Civil War America 8 outlaw gather together in a snowy cabin and keep talking, abusing and shooting each other till the end of the film. That's it. At some places its bold and bloody but most of the time it's a complete bore. Over all a film only for the die hard Tarantino fan.
