A friend of mine recently shifted to mulund and found this restaurant here! We end up eating here whenever we meet .
Famous for its south indian delicacies, this joint serves north indian, thai and chinese food as well. The place is too small and you have to face a normal waiting time of 15 mins. The service is fast and staff is helpful. Everytime I visit Thambi I feel that I pay very less for the amazingly delicious food I eat.Only for south Indian food lovers.
Famous food items are: Neer Dosa, Rawa Dosa, Mysore Sada, Rasam Wada, Idli Wada.They have the best idlis I have ever eaten. .The Dilkhush Dosa is also worth a try . You can easily miss the masala idli The thalis and combos they have in the menu is completely paisa vasool- the morning and evening combos are not above Rs.100 and the food is light on the tummy and the pocket as well! The lunch and dinner thalis are also worth trying! Your meal isn't complete if you haven't had the filter coffee from here! You will never fall short of good food when in mulund but you have to be here if you wanna have really good south indian food!:)
