I purchased my Tata Photon device long back in Chennai. I was told that it will take 24 hours to activate. But it took almost 5 days to get activated. While taking, I had asked whether it will work for Mac or not, the representative was not aware of that, and after activation, came to know that my device doesn't work on Mac, had called him for a replacement.
I am really upset with following about Tata Photon -
Very unhappy about the speed. They promise something, but get something else.
Very very costly plan.
To change the address, it is taking 1.5 months and still not converted for me.
Customer care is not well educated. Every time I listen some new process with different representative.
Online system doesn't allow to post any complain.
Hard to change from postpaid to prepaid.
Once connection is gone, you can not use the same device for new connection, have to buy new one.
Service center are not friendly and are very rare in cities. so have to travel a long way.
They only provide door services when you want to buy. After becoming member, they are least bother about their customer.
I will not recommend my friends to go for Tata Docomo, as we get so much pain and speed is very less. Totally a waste of money.
